The Government of the United Kingdom (commonly known as the UK Government), officially His Majesty's Government (abbreviated to HM Government), is the central executive authority of the United Kingdom. The government is led by the Prime Minister, who selects all the other ministers. There has been a Conservative-led government since October 2022, with successive prime ministers being the then Leader of the Conservative Party. The prime minister and their ministers belong to the supreme decision-making committee, known as the Cabinet.
