Accession and Coronation

King Robert is proclaimed King at Windsor Castle

Robert acceded to the throne on the 16th of October 2022 following King George's departure from the United Kingdom. King Robert was formally proclaimed King at the meeting of the Accession Council at Windsor Castle on the 17th of October 2022.

The Principal Proclamation is read out in the Engine Court following the meeting of the Accession Council
