Ulferno is an entrepreneur and former politican who has previously served as Secretary of State in the Cabinet Office, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Secretary of State for Justice and Minister of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs. He has also been Chairman of the Unionist Party.

Political Career

Ulferno became an MP on 19 February 2023 in the 71st Parliament. In the 72nd Parliament he was appointed Minister of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, and also later that term, Secretary of State for Justice. In the 73rd Parliament he remained as the Secretary of State for Justice and was appointed as Chairman of the Unionist Party on 29 May 2023 by a vote of the Conservative Party Board following the resignation of RaphaelDRothschild.

In the 74th Parliament parliament, the Labour Party and Progressive Party formed a minority coalition government and he lost his position of Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor in government. However, the King's Speech for the 74th Parliament failed and a fresh election was called. In the 75th Parliament the Labour Party and Conservative Party formed a supermajority grand coalition and he was appointed Secretary of State in the Cabinet Office and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster.

Business Career
