Robert I (RobertWellesIey) is the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and other Commonwealth Realms. As King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, he discharges many official duties in various capacities. Alongside his role as Head of State and Head of Nation, His Majesty is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Fount of Honour, Head of the Judiciary, Head of the Civil Service and Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

Accession and Coronation
Robert acceded to the throne on the 16th of October 2022 following King George's departure from the United Kingdom. A day later, King Robert was formally proclaimed King at the meeting of the Accession Council at Windsor Castle on the 17th of October 2022.
The coronation of King Robert I marked a significant moment in the history of the kingdom. His coronation, held on the 11th of December 2022, was a grand event attended by dignitaries, nobles, and representatives from across the realm and the Commonwealth. The ceremony took place in Westminster Abbey and lasted around an hour and a half.
During the coronation, King Robert I received St. Edward's Crown, a powerful symbol of his authority and legitimacy as the Monarch. The crown, adorned with precious gemstones and elaborate designs, was carefully placed on his head by the Archbishop of Canterbury, signifying the divine approval of his reign as King.
Early Reign
Following his Coronation, King Robert released a statement to the public where he thanked them for their loyalty and support on the day:
"It is my hope, to be worthy of the charge that has been placed upon me and to rule with respect and compassion. I should also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your warm wishes and inspirational loyalty. I know that with your support, I can be successful in this." - Robert R
The first public visit to the new King was by the Governor-General of New Zealand, Sir JointÓCatháin. In the following days after his accession, the King had visits from the 81st Prime Minister (Pictured below) and the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Pacificanity. The early days of the King's reign were filled with state visits and meetings with delegates from all across the world including many from the Commonwealth, of which His Majesty is Head.
