LukeFylan CBE KPM is a senior Royal Air Force Officer. He currently serves as the Commandant General of the RAF Regiment and has a history of policing, politics and being a Fenian throughout his years in the community.

Early life

Luke joined the community in 2017, finding a passion in politics and policing.

Fylan joined the then existing Security Service (MI5), before going into politics and pursuing a career as a Member of Parliament for Cumbria under the Labour Party.

During his political career, he had ties to several different parties in Westminster, such as, the Labour Party, Conservative Party, the Liberal Democrats and the Liberal Unionist Party.

Career

Military Service

In 2021, Fylan joined the RAF Regiment as a gunner on the anniversary of the regiment being founded. He served tours in the Falkland Islands and Northern Ireland.

Luke was commissioned in May 2022, taking over from his predecessor, MichaelLydford. The RAF Regiment at the time was part of No.2 Group due to the lack of manpower and stability the regiment had. Fylan lead the RAF Regiment into a brighter future, alongside with the Group Officer, IndianDeliShop.

The RAF Regiment was on the brink of closure before Fylan and Indian brought life back into the regiment, securing a split from No.2 Group - following this, the RAF Regiment went it's own way to find success, brining back the Kings Colour Squadron as the main RAF ceremonial unit.

Fylan previously served in the Parachute Regiment as a Lance Corporal in late 2019 and early 2020.

Metropolitan Police Service

Luke has had a long policing career throughout the years, which started in the early days of the City of London, where he was apart of the then existing Security Service (MI5). Following the disbanding of the agency, Fylan went on to pursue a full-time policing career in the Greater Manchester Police Service, and later the Metropolitan Police Service.

His policing career came to an end when he had to prioritise his Armed Forces duties in July 2022.

Parliament

In 2017, his political career kickstarted in the Labour Party under Connor_Novak, however after a short break from politics he returned, as a Member of Parliament under Theo_Novaks New Labour Party.

Luke then went on to Liberal Democrats before it rebranded into the Conservative & Unionist Party, where he was a Member of the Federal Board, and parliament, who was against the idea of a rebrand. Fylan then resigned from the party, and went on to the Liberal Unionist Party, a party founded by those who did not agree with the controlling behaviour of the newly Conservative & Unionist Party leader and chairman.

Fylan then took a long break from politics, focusing on his early military career, before eventually rejoining the Labour Party, under DeanHeathcote, where after electoral success, he was offered to be the Minister for Commonwealth.

Royal Household

In December 2022, Luke was appointed the Superintendent of Hillsborough Castle.

Commonwealth

Luke Fylan chaired The Commonwealth Police Force Association for two consecutive years following the resignation of EdwardMacmillan. COMPOL was known to be the face of the commonwealth for so long, uniting people through their passion of policing.

Fylan is currently serving as the British High Commissioner to Commonwealth Nations at the His Majesty's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office

Ireland

Luke Fylan, at the stead of Connor_Novak, worked as Group Staff at BunreachtnahEireann's Ireland. His work varied as Garda Commissioner, to Presidential Seanadoir, to Group Staff. Handling both moderation and development, Fylan made great strives in getting Ireland where it is today. Now, Fylan has nothing to do with Irelan, departing after the Northern Ireland (2022).
