On the 10th of July 2018, Geolyre joined as the Registrar of Companies. He held this position for around six months before resigning.

The Lord Geolyre of Ipswich has had several tenures within His Majesty's Treasury, initially joining on 10th July 2018 as a Registrar within the [[Companies House]]. He held this position for approximately six months before resigning. On 22nd April 2019, he rejoined as a Registrar again, before becoming Private Secretary to the Chancellor. He rejoined for a third time on 4th June 2020, again as a Registrar for the Companies House. Geolyre was appointed Chief Registrar of the Companies House on 23rd April 2021 and held the role for 10 months before being appointed Permanent Secretary of the department. Notably, Geolyre is credited with the creation of [[Transport for London]], as well as being its longest-serving [[Commissioner]].

From 27th April 2023 until the passing of King Robert I on June 8 2024, Geolyre held the position of Principal Private Secretary to the then-Prince of Wales EdwardWellesley.
 
Geolyre was first elected as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Whitby & Scarborough and member of His Majesty's Government during the 49th Parliament where he remained for the duration of the term.
 
Geolyre was re-elected as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Whitby & Scarborough and member of His Majesty's Most Loyal Opposition during the 52nd Parliament. During this parliament, Geolyre was appointed the Government Liaison to Ireland and worked within the Foreign Office.
 
On the 20th of September 2021 Geolyre was appointed as Assistant Clerk of the House of Commons.

The Lord Geolyre of Ipswich joined the [[Greater Manchester Police]] as a Student Constable on the 19th of April 2020 having previously joined on the 14th of July 2019.
 
Geolyre joined the Greater Manchester Police's [[Tactical Firearms Unit]] as a Police Constable on the 2nd of May 2020, a day after passing his probation.
 
During the year 2020, Police Constable Geolyre joined the Greater Manchester Police's Royalty and Specialist Protection Command and subsequently accompanied the unit in protecting the king on a state visit to Malaysia as a Close Protection Officer.
 
Police Constable Geolyre was a member of the National Police Air Service and operated the H135 aircraft on [[Eastbrook]].
 
Geolyre was promoted to the rank of Police Sergeant sometime between August and December of 2020 and was appointed as the unit's administration and training lead.
 
Following the transition from the Greater Manchester Police to the [[Metropolitan Police Service]], Geolyre joined [[Met Operations 19]] as a sergeant and continued as the branch's administration and training lead.
 
At sometime during this period, Geolyre was appointed as the lead of the branch's Trojan Protection Unit.
 
Geolyre was promoted to the rank of Police Inspector following MichaelDechart's promotion to Chief Inspector on the 22nd of January 2021.

Following the resignation of four members of the unit's command, it is believed that Geolyre sent his resignation, for it to be denied by the Deputy Commissioner. Thus, Police Inspector Geolyre and Police Inspector DIAGREE jointly became the most senior members of Met Operations 19 until Chief Superintendent DanielRuarc's appointment as temporary lead of MO19.
 
Chief Superintendent DanielRuarc selected Police Inspector Geolyre to be the branch's Deputy Lead. Geolyre was subsequently promoted to the rank of Chief Inspector on the 21st of July 2021.
 
Following a period of time, Chief Inspector Geolyre was appointed as the lead of Met Operations 19 and remained in the rank until his trial period was over.
 
Chief Inspector Geolyre was then promoted to Superintendent of Met Operations 19, alongside Chief Inspector Zoriby's promotion to Superintendent of Met Operations 8.
