The Duke Mountbatten of Hereford, Sir SidMountbatten KG GCB GCSI CMG CH CBE DSO MC OStJ PC is a former British politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on 3 occasions in 2016, 2019, and 2020. He has been leader of the Royalists, the Imperials, and the Conservatives. Alongside his political career, SidMountbatten has led regiments in the British Armed Forces, including the Special Air Service, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, the Coldstream Guards, and the Parachute Regiment. Internationally, SidMountbatten was the last Secretary-General of the United Nations in Tormentium's UN.
Early Military Career
SidMountbatten, known at the time as SidousThePwnda, joined the United Kingdom in 2015. Holding friendships with FaisalWellesley, Stealthmatt, and blazethekiller11 from his previous adventures before joining the United Kingdom, he immediately joined the British Armed Forces. In Colonel Toml1's Mercian Regiment, he achieved the rank of Regimental Sergeant Major in a matter of weeks. After the Mercian Regiment was disbanded, he transferred to the Parachute Regiment under the command of Colonel rodjer456, where he was trained into one of the British Army's finest soldiers. Serving in countless wars, with campaigns against Italy, India and Cuba being particular highlights, SidMountbatten was eventually drafted into the Special Air Service under his good friend blazethekiller11's command.
Early Political Career
After eventually striking a friendship with LordGalactica (JamesMountbatten) through their shared experiences in the Forces, SidMountbatten was eventually tempted into politics under LordGalactica's UKIP party. He was immediately given the position of Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sports, and became Member of Parliament for Islington North. After the infamous Enabling Act was passed by LordGalactica, SidMountbatten used the opportunity to pass his first pieces of legislation without the need for Parliament voting on any of them.
After LordGalactica's term as Prime Minister, he was succeeded by MisterJLHL (TomWellesley) as leader of UKIP. UKIP once again won the election, and SidMountbatten was promoted to First Secretary of State and Defence Secretary. Resigning from his positions in the British Armed Forces, he was now fully committed to his political career. Once UKIP was dissolved at the conclusion of MisterJLHL's term, he joined Tormentium's Liberal Democrats, serving as Foreign Secretary and First Secretary of State for Tormentium's government in the back end of 2015.
Taking a few terms away from Parliament, SidMountbatten returned in July 2016 to demand leadership of the Royalist party led by the departing Tormentium at the time. Tentacools intended on being Tormentium's successor, but SidMountbatten threatened to split the electorate if he wasn't given leadership by making his own party. He was able to win his first election with 25 seats out of 50, having no opposition strong enough to form a government over him. He was reunited with his old friend LordGalactica who was now crowned as James the First. They had a particular close bond during his term as Prime Minister, going to war with countless nations and forming the first itteration of the British Empire. He also rejoined the Special Air Service during this time, helping lead the United Kingdom to their infamous 5-0 win against the United States of America. The conclusion of this war meant that Hawaii was liberated from United States and served as their own state part of the British Empire.
Return to the Forces
SidMountbatten after the conclusion of his term as Prime Minister resigned from Parliament and kept a quiet profile during the rest of 2016 and all of 2017. In 2018 however, he accepted an Earldom bestowed upon him by King Daniel I and also rejoined the British Armed Forces. This time, he joined the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers under the command of StephenMountbatten (Charles I). Furthermore, this is where he became part of the Mountbatten family.
He rapidly rose to the rank of Commissioned Officer, and when StephenMountbatten eventually departed from the Fusiliers, SidMountbatten was given his own regiment in the British Army for the first time. He transformed the Fusiliers into a solid infantry force, and ensured that the Fusiliers were admirably respected alongside the elite Parachute Regiment on the front lines, in wars against Ireland and the United States.
Alongside this, he served in Daniel I's Privy Council, and was made Foreign Secretary of the Privy government under the leadership of MichaelMountbatten. During his time as Privy Foreign Secretary, SidMountbatten also dipped his toes into Tormentium's United Nations, and was made Chief Under-Secretary-General under Verzai. He was eventually forced to resign from all of his posts after being involved in controversy to make a new United Nations.
It was around this time that SidMountbatten joined the ranks of Group Staff in the United Kingdom.
Secretary-General and Prime Minister Mountbatten
In April 2019, SidMountbatten quietly returned to the backbenches in the House of Common as part of JaskMEnfield's Royalist party. Aggreived with Enfield's leadership, a few days before the general election he tried to repeat what he did 3 years earlier in the Royalist party by demanding leadership of the party or he would make his own. JaskMEnfield did not give in, and instead resigned days before the election being succeeded by his own choice AquaRescue. SidMountbatten then made the Imperial Party, only 4 days before the next election. With a rushed manifesto and little preperation, he was still able to win a respectable 8 seats. There was a hung parliament between the Royalists Conservatives, Imperials and Labour, with no coalition formed and the Royalists being the largest party.
But SidMountbatten knew that a united opposition could get another election. In order to have a stronger brand and a stronger voter base, SidMountbatten charmed Conservative leader JamesAcheson into letting the Imperials merge into the Conservatives. Not only did the two parties merge, but JamesAcheson stepped down as leader and gave over the reigns to SidMountbatten, even though the Conservatives won more seats in the last election. The merger resulted in 18 seats, and SidMountbatten immediately held talks with Labour to convince them to nay the King's Speech. Labour agreed and it was announced to the United Kingdom that the opposition were united against the Royalists. AquaRescue, wanting to avoid embarrasment at the State Opening of Parliament, called another election. Royalists were dissolved, and SidMountbatten's Conservatives won a landslide majority with 30 seats.
Immediate wars against Russia and the Yada clan's coalition of nations in Africa followed, with landslide victories. SidMountbatten laid down the foundations for Conservative dominance, with the Tories being in power until March 2020 - nearly an entire year.
During this time, SidMountbatten desired control of Tormentium's United Nations. With his good friend and deputy Secretary-General candidate FinleyMountbatten, the Mountbattens announced their intention of winning the elections in the United Nations with SidMountbatten as Secretary-General. The election was won, and the Mountbatten brothers sort about using their position in the United Nations of achieving complete United Kingdom dominance. By the end of their time in the Secretariat, the United Kingdom held direct influence over 12 of the 15 nations on the United Nations Security Council, and achieved landslide victories on whatever was presented in the General Assembly.
As his terms as Prime Minister and Secretary-General concluded, SidMountbatten retired from both domestic and international politics, being granted the Dukedom of Hereford, and also being granted the Coldstream Guards for his service over 2019.
Later duties in the United Kingdom
SidMountbatten led the Coldstream Guards into early 2020, where he retired from the British Armed Forces. Now only a business owner of Mountbatten Express and a member of Group Staff, he enjoyed a quiet 2020 until Thomas I asked him to lead a Lords Government due to political instability in the House of Commons. As is typical of any SidMountbatten term as Prime Minister, a war with Palestine was fought and won under this short government.
In 2021, with controversy sweeping the Parachute Regiment and most of the command team being exiled from the British Armed Forces, Chief of Defence Staff Noah_Collins was close to disbanding the British Army's oldest and most illustrious regiment. Members of Group Staff, spearheaded by SidMountbatten, intervened, and demanded a solution was to be found. It was then suggested that old friends SidMountbatten and Tormentium team up once again to fix the Parachute regiment. He graciouslly accepted the position of Colonel Commandant of his beloved Paras, and returned the regiment to stability. After his work was done in the Paras, SidMountbatten permanently retired from military and political life in the United Kingdom, after 6 years of service.
Present Day
SidMountbatten, now having taken a step back from Group Staff duties too, can still be found in the United Kingdom from time to time. He still has 50% shares in Mountbatten Express, which he made in 2018 and was at one point the largest private company in the United Kingdom. He also sits on the Lords Appointment Committee as his only active role within the nation.
