Military career
British Army
Cathcart first joined the British Armed Forces in November 2018, enlisting as a trooper in the Life Guards of the Household Cavalry. During his time in the Household Cavalry, which lasted for nine months until the decommissioning of the regiment, Cathcart was promoted to Lance Corporal and earned the Marksman Qualification badge. While in the Household Cavalry, Cathcart served alongside the now Commandant of the Household Cavalry MisterSett and Chief of Air Staff RoboChainGunner.

After the decommissioning of the Household Cavalry in August 2019, Cathcart was transferred to the Coldstream Guards at the rank of Lance Sergeant as part of the initial staff tasked with starting the regiment. While serving in that role, Cathcart was awarded the Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in November 2019 for one year of continuous service in the British Army. It was during this time that Cathcart became a member of the Service Prosecuting Authority. At the peak of his time in the Coldstream Guards, Cathcart attained the rank of Company Sergeant Major. Towards the beginning of summer 2020, Cathcart was strained and felt he needed a break and thus briefly considered retiring from the army. The then Commandant of the Royal Tank Regiment RyanMountbatten offered Cathcart to retain his role in the Service Prosecuting Authority if he were to transfer over to the Royal Tank Regiment as a reservist.

Military Career
In June 2020, Cathcart transferred to the Royal Tank Regiment at the rank of Corporal in the reserves. After a period of inactivity, Cathcart returned to an active position in the Royal Tank Regiment to teach drill with his experience from the Household Cavalry and Coldstream Guards. Subsequently, Cathcart was promoted to Sergeant. After the Royal Tank Regiment had been rebranded to the Royal Lancers, Cathcart received an Honourable discharge in December 2020 from then Commandant JamieSandison with approval from the king.

Royal Navy
Royal Navy
Timothy is currently serving as Commanding Officer of the Carrier Strike Group in the Royal Navy, at the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Barely a month after retiring from the British Army, Cathcart enlisted in the Royal Navy at the rank of Able Rate Second Class. By April 2021, Cathcart had achieved the rank of Petty Officer and was at the time a prominent instructor in the Royal Navy, having also received three good conduct stripes in that period. After the retirement of Chief Petty Officer IvanMcDeer he took command of the then-existent Trafalgar Squadron. After restructuring in June 2021 and the amalgamation of the multiple Surface Fleet squadrons into the Carrier Strike Group and Littoral Strike Group, Cathcart was promoted to Chief Petty Officer in the Littoral Strike Group. In August of 2021, Cathcart was appointed Warrant Officer to the Royal Navy, a position he held until November of the same year. After a period of inactivity, Cathcart was discharged from the Royal Navy in late December 2021.

After the BIOT incident in October 2022, Cathcart was invited to rejoin the Royal Navy at his previous rank of Warrant Officer to the Royal Navy in an effort to rebuild the Navy. Together with other former members of the Royal Navy, Cathcart aided in the effort to restart the Royal Navy. As Warrant Officer, Cathcart was in charge of organising a new instructor corps capable of hosting regular and high-quality events, a task he was successful in achieving. After serving for four months as Warrant Officer, Cathcart was commissioned for the first time in his military career on the 15th of January 2023. Assuming the rank of Midshipman, Cathcart was set to take over command of the former 1st Carrier Squadron from Lt Cdr JohnKillen. One month after his initial commission, he was promoted to Sub Lieutenant, formally taking over command of the 1st Carrier Squadron. Roughly a month later, in April 2023 Cathcart was Promoted to Lieutenant in tandem with a restructuring of the Royal Navy. Reorganising the 1st Carrier Squadron and the 3rd Destroyer Squadron into the Carrier Strike Group and the Littoral Strike Group. Subsequently, Cathcart assumed command of the Carrier Strike Group, a position he holds to this day. On the 1st of May 2023, Cathcart was promoted to Lieutenant Commander.

Political career
Early years
Cathcart began his career in British politics as a Member of Parliament for the British National Party under the leadership of MarkRaymonde in late 2017. After this brief tenure as an MP in BNP, Cathcart returned to Parliament as a frontbencher for the Labour Party in the capacity of Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland. Cathcart served in this position until the end of the 42nd term in parliament, ending on the 16th of June 2018. Having tasted politics, Cathcart made a brief come-back to politics in the spring of 2019 as Member of Parliament for Chelsea and Fulham for the Conservative Party.

British Army
High Tories
In addition to his naval career, Timothy served for two consecutive years in the British Army.
In October 2019, Cathcart made a return to politics full-time. This time as Member of Parliament for Chelsea and Fulham for the first rendition of the High Tory Party. After the collapse of JoshRadcliffe's "Low" Tory government, King Thomas I dissolved parliament and called for an early election on the 18th of October 2019. In the subsequent election, the High Tory party won the popular vote, resulting in a merger with the "Low" Tory Party. Cathcart was appointed Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs, a role he served in until the 10th of November the same year. In the following election, then party leader Ayhjeff stepped down which resulted in JoshRadcliffe again taking over as Leader of the Conservative Party. Subsequently, Cathcart stepped down from his position in the proposed cabinet.

Household Cavalry
Conservative Party
His career begun in the Household Cavalry where he joined as a Trooper in the Life Guards. At the time of his enlistment, the Household Cavalry was the largest regiment of the British Army by manpower.
In April 2020, following a large electoral loss, the then Leader of the Conservative Party Blokeston resigned and left the party without a clear successor. With the experience of serving as Foreign Secretary, Cathcart launched a campaign for the leadership. Running against Sllllllp, Cathcart was successful in his bid for leadership by one vote. After a vote of no confidence triggered by members of the 1922 Committee, which followed his leadership of the party for the 53rd Parliament, Cathcart was ousted from his position as leader of the party. Taking over this position was ElizabethRadcliffe. Disheartened by this sign of distrust, Cathcart left politics to focus on his role in the British Armed Forces.

Coldstream Guards
Recent Years
After the decommissioning of the Household Cavalry, Timothy joined the Coldstream Guards at the rank of Lance Sergeant. After just a couple of weeks, Timothy was promoted to Company Sergeant Major and served at that rank until his transfer to the Royal Tank Regiment in June of 2020.
Cathcart made one last return to politics in May 2022 as a backbench Member of Parliament for Northumberland in the Labour Party. In his role as a backbencher, Cathcart quickly made a name for himself within the party, hosting multiple party surgeries to increase public awareness and interest in the party. Together with WilliamMarina, Cathcart rose through the ranks of the party, landing himself a seat on the National Executive Committee. At the time the party was electorally successful and after the election in June of the same year, Cathcart was elected Chancellor of the Exchequer. He would only hold for six days as the government failed to pass their King's Speech, resulting in the dissolution of Parliament and the appointment of a Lords' Government.

Royal Tank Regiment
As a consequence of the failure to pass the King's Speech, the then Leader of the Labour Party, DeanRHeathcote resigned, prompting a leadership election. Following an intense race for the leadership of the party, all other candidates pulled out of the race, leaving Cathcart as the sole candidate for leadership. This resulted in Cathcart becoming Leader of the Labour Party on the 16th of June 2022. In the June election, having won 16 out of 50 seats, Labour failed to secure a place in government following unsuccessful coalition talks. The Conservative Party, who had secured a deal with the Liberal Democrats, entered into government under the leadership of Prime Minister ShiforRBLX.
After transferring from the Household Cavalry, Timothy joined the Royal Tank Regiment at the rank of Corporal in the reserves while committed to duties in the Service Prosecuting Authority.
